A major announcement relating to the new baseball clubrooms was made at last night’s EBC Annual General Meeting.

President Tony Cornish revealed the exciting decision by the City of Moonee Valley to include $2million of funding into its 2016/17 budget for constructing EBC’s new clubrooms.

The confirmation of funding follows many years of planning, however EBC members are invited to have input into the latest drawings which are still in draft form. If you would like a copy of the drawings in order to have your say, please contact Tony via email – tonycornish8@gmail.com

The Club’s aim is for the new clubrooms to be built as quickly as possible, however a great deal of preliminary work is required before construction commences and no firm completion date has been contemplated. The key thing is that funding is locked in and the new rooms will happen!

It’s an exciting time ahead for the Club with this announcement adding to the continued improvement works on Diamond 2 and the installation of a new electronic scoreboard and outfield irrigation on the main ground.
